Lenika Scott is a native of Norfolk, Va who moved to Raleigh, NC in 1991 to attend Saint Augustine’s College. During her freshman year in college she met Gregg Scott who would later marry and ultimately make a decision to remain in the area and raise a family. Lenika is a mother of 6 precious daughters, Jazmine, Janae’, Jayla, Joy, Jireh & Jordan. Although Lenika received a degree in Biology/Chemistry, throughout most of her adult years she was a "Stay At Home Mom" also known as A Work At Home Mom. During her years at home she was able to spend quality time with the Lord through giving herself to fasting, praying, and studying the word of God. Years later after she experienced a tremendous breakthrough in the area of entrepreneurship because of a Daniel Fast, God laid it upon her heart to write a book on fasting. He told her that many in the Body of Christ needed direction on this topic and hence the book was birthed. "Fasting For Breakthrough" was released via paperback in fall of 2013.
